Wake up to the sound of bird song, hear the wind in the trees and look out over the rolling hills and country side. Meander into town to view of one of the many art galleries, have brunch at the wonderful Maybe Street cafe or wander the heritage of the town starting with the white wood swing bridge only metres from the cottage.

Dine at one of the historic pubs in town or alfredo at the cottage. Nearby Willow Tree has the famous Graze restaurant, and Glasshouse near Tamworth is a stunning choice for lunch or dinner.

Situated in arguably the most sought after, dress circle area of Murrurundi is this 1 bedroom plus study/single bedroom cottage. Furnished with a mix of old and new pieces and some beautiful art. Situated near the famous footbridge and beautiful Pages River, this recently refurbished cottage is an ongoing, almost finished work in progress!

We use the cottage around once a month as a family getaway so there are personal items in some drawers and cupboards. An upside of this is a well stocked pantry which you’re welcome to use and things like condiments in the fridge. There are lots of play things for kids ages 4-6. There are also two scooters, one adult and one for a 3/5 year old that’s perfect for whizzing around town. You will have empty cupboard and drawer space for your use. If you are after an immaculate airbnb presented home that is used solely for airbnb rentals, with things carefully labelled and no personal items anywhere, this cottage is not for you.
